Key Job Purpose :
-    Serve as the primary clinical and technical subject matter expert (SME) for the Hinotori™ Robotic System, ensuring safe, effective, and optimized use in surgical environments.
-    Act as the master user and clinical liaison for surgeon training, competency assessment, operating-room case support, and continuous clinical excellence.
-    Partner closely with surgeons, nursing and operating-room staff, hospital stakeholders, Customer Care, Commercial, Technical Service, and Regional HQ to enable successful adoption, utilization, and continuous improvement.
-    Maintain accurate case, training, utilization, and issue records; identify risks and opportunities and escalate matters appropriately. 

 

Summary of Functional Duties & Responsibilities :

  1. Serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for Hinotori™ Robotic System within the assigned territory or institution.
  2. Proactively identify opportunities to optimize robot utilization, procedural performance, and clinical outcomes.
  3. Provide first-line troubleshooting support and escalate complex issues appropriately.
  4. Plan, organize, and deliver structured training programs for surgeons, fellows, and operating room staff on robotic system usage.
  5. Coordinate onboarding pathways, proctoring sessions, dry labs, wet labs, and simulation-based training where applicable.
  6. Ensure all training and clinical support activities comply with company procedures, applicable regulatory requirements, hospital credentialing standards, and safety requirements.
  7. Support surgeon credentialing and competency validation by coordinating assessments, documenting results, and following up on identified development needs.
  8. Provide constructive clinical and technical feedback aligned with defined evaluation frameworks and observed performance.
  9. Provide hands-on clinical support during robotic-assisted surgical cases, with a clear focus on safe workflow, system readiness, and effective case execution.
  10. Guide surgical teams on robot setup, instrumentation, docking, workflow optimization, and appropriate troubleshooting to support safe and efficient procedures.
  11. Work closely with regional HQ clinical, technical, and commercial teams to address escalations, system issues, or clinical concerns.
  12. Support clinical investigations, product feedback, and post-market surveillance activities.
  13. Track and report monthly case counts, system utilization, and procedural volumes.
  14. Maintain accurate records for training activity, supported cases, and site performance.
  15. Read, update and follow company's standard operating procedures and guidelines in daily work.
  16. Support Manager to make, review and improve standard operating procedures and guidelines.
  17. Any other special projects and duties as assigned. 

 

QUALIFICATION :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, or another related healthcare field. Clinical or operating-room background preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an operating-theatre, clinical support, medical device, or healthcare environment. Robotic surgery experience is highly preferred.
  • Skills and Knowledge Required :
    • Strong understanding of surgical workflows, operating-room practices, and sterile-field principles.
    • Good computer literacy and ability to learn clinical and technical systems quickly.
    • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to analyze case data, maintain documentation, and prepare clear reports.
  • Attitude Required :
    • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, particularly with surgeons and multidisciplinary clinical teams.

  • Knowledge Desired but not Essential :
    • Experience in robotic surgery, surgical navigation, or other advanced surgical technology.
    • Experience in clinical education, proctoring, or medical-device training.
    • Knowledge of hospital credentialing, clinical governance, or post-market surveillance.
  • 50%; travel may include customer sites, hospitals, training centers, and other locations within Thailand. Occasional regional/international travel may be required.
  • May require flexible working hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or public holidays, based on scheduled surgical cases, training programs, and customer requirements
