Warehouse Assistant

Key Job Purpose :

Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store and record goods in warehouse. Receive incoming goods, check for any damages, discrepancies between goods vs invoices. Pick order, pack, receive and dispatch outbound goods according to requests or delivery orders. Maintain up-to-date stock and inventory records. Perform other routine clerical activities such as updating SAP system transaction, inventory records, transfer, delivery and dispatch forms.

Summary of Functional Duties & Responsibilities :

1.

Responsible for inbound receiving, perform visual inspection on physical packing conditions and quantities against Delivery Order.

2.

Responsible for storage after inspection.

3.

Responsible for all movement of inventory IN and OUT of warehouse.

4.

Ensure accurate picking and packing of goods for local and overseas deliveries

5.

Ensure practice of first-in-first-out policy and 100% accuracy of inventory movement with traceability.

6.

Regular execution of cycle count and stock-take activities according to schedule and update of transactions.

7.

Ensure inventory control of products with shelf life and flammable goods.

8.

Responsible for issue of goods for production use and physical movement of finished goods from production to warehouse before delivery.

9.

Ensure order integrity delivered to customers

10.

Ensure on-time delivery of products to and from Sysmex.

11.

Any other matter as request by supervisor.

Job Specification :

Minimum Education Required :

At least ITE certificate/ Diploma

Minimum Experience Required :

3 years

Skills and Knowledge Required :

Inventory and warehouse management (WMS)

Hands-on experience with SAP system

Attitude Required :

Sense of urgency and meticulous

Knowledge Desired but not Essential :

Basic Microsoft Office software skills.

Others :

Able to work on weekend or overtime where necessary, Forklift License
