Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused LIS (Laboratory Information System) Application Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide IT application and technical support for LIS software, hardware, and solutions. You will play a critical part in ensuring efficient operation and satisfaction for our healthcare clients by resolving issues, providing expert guidance, and supporting the LIS systems.

 

This position is ideal for professionals with a solid background in IT, healthcare, or life sciences who are passionate about healthcare technologies.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide application and technical support for LIS software and hardware, including on-site, telephone, or remote troubleshooting and repair.
  • Resolve LIS-related issues and handle customer complaints and enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to address technical concerns and system enhancements.
  • Conduct software configurations, testing, and validation for LIS deployments.
  • Deliver training and technical documentation to end users.
  • Support system upgrades, maintenance, and rollout of new features.
  • Lead or assist in project implementations including configuration, installation, and management of project activities from initiation to Go-Live, ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Standby after office hours/weekend/public holiday as per schedule, respond to customer in timely manner.

 

Requirements

  • Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Biomedical Science, Medical/Health Laboratory Technology, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in healthcare, clinical laboratory, life science, or IT.
  • Knowledge of IVD, healthcare, or life science industry is a plus.
  • Good in problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car for travel to customer sites as needed.
