Key Job Purpose :
The Sysmex Vietnam Supply Chain Officer is the supply chain representative in the business who represents the knowledge and capability of supply chain principles and techniques that can be applied to a market to deliver product that meets the needs of the market.
This role supports the Supply Chain Team leader to drive a foundation of strong supply chain processes within the affiliate.
Ensure all activities and conduct within Supply Chain are complying to all company policies, procedures, and local regulation.
Summary of Functional Duties & Responsibilities:
Demand Planning/ Forecasting
- Manage processes and methods to gather supply chain data.
- Monitor forecast, analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements with strong ties to financials.
- Utilize key metrics results as leading indicators to identify opportunities for forecasting improvements.
Supply planning and supply delivery
- Create supply plans, place orders and follow these plans that ensure the timely supply of products to market need at an optimum level.
- Monitor back order and shortage of supply issue.
- Import/ Export and local shipments monitoring.
Customer Management
- Manage customer sales orders in the assigned territory.
Inventory management
- Closely working with LSP on the daily inventory activities.
- Understand the optimum inventory level to early identify the high-risk stock and seek for appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate, and follow up on the excess stock, slow moving item.
Process/ Project
- Together with the team, accountable to monitor and optimize the SC KPIs.
- Joining new launch project as a project member offering SC expertise support and ensure new product launches within business / affiliate are aligned with launching plan.
- To follow up change management i.e. Label change management.
Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

- To use methods, tools supplied by company to serve for the job.

- To refuse the missions pointed out by the managers, which conflicts to company’s compliance or the law regulation
Job Specification :
Minimum Education Required
Degree in Supply Chain/Business Management or equivalent
Minimum Experience Required
Min 2 years working experience of supply chain work in international business in terms of healthcare
Skills and Knowledge Required
Inventory Management, Importation, Logistics Process Management, Procurement, PC literate, English Communication
Attitude Required
Positive mindset; resourceful; sense of urgency, customer focused, team player, responsible, flexibility
Knowledge Desired but not Essential
Medical devices experience, Accounting & Logistic IT system Familiar with SAP system, IBP
Travel Requirement
Flexible to respond to regional training/meeting
